One of the worst things to come from like woke tumblr liberal social justice culture is this ugly implication that gays who aren’t steeped in the bullshit identity politics discourse that happens on here and are just out there living their lives as gay people in the real world with real world values are like somehow old fashioned and naive and even “less trustworthy” cuz they don’t like know the word heteronormativity or unknowingly use slightly outdated terminology when the reality is I’d much rather spend my time hanging out with good intentioned random gay people in the real world who have lives than 20 y/o woke kweers who get their entire concept of the LGBT community through tumblr and who know what words like truscum and queerplatonic and autochorrisexual mean
